Step 5: Install the DoD certificates (for Safari and Chrome Users)

Go to Keychain Access
Click: Go (top of screen), Utilities, double click Keychain Admission.app

Double click each of the files to install certificates into the login section of keychain

NOTE: If you are missing any of the above certificates, you have two choices,
i. Delete all of them, and re-run the 5 files above, or
2. Download the allcerts.zero file and install each of the certificates you lot are missing individually.

Yous may detect some of the certificates will have a red circle with a white 10

Footstep 5a: DoD certificate installation instructions for Firefox users
NOTE: Firefox volition not work on Mac Os x.12.x or newer when using the native Apple tree smartcard power
Firefox also requires the installation of CACKey and configured to use it.
Download AllCerts.goose egg, [remember where y'all save information technology].

Import (button)
Browse to the DoD certificates (AllCerts) extracted folder y'all downloaded and extracted above.
Note: You accept to do this step for every single certificate

Notation: Mac OS Sierra (x.12.x), High Sierra (10.xiii.x), Mojave (x.14.x), Catalina (10.15.10), Big Sur (11.x), and Monterrey (12.10) computers no longer need a CAC Enabler.
REMINDER: Users who choose to upgrade (or already have upgraded) to Mac Os Catalina (ten.15.x), Big Sur (11.xx.x), or Monterey (12.x.x) will need to uninstall all 3rd Political party CAC enablers per https://militarycac.com/macuninstall.htm AND reenable the native smart bill of fare ability (very lesser of macuninstall link above)
Try to access the CAC enabled site y'all need to access now.
If you have problems, please follow images below to verify if your CAC is being read past your computer
Click the Apple Icon in the upper left corner of the desktop, select "About This Mac"
Click the "Organization Report..." button
Curl down the left column to the "Software" section then click on "SmartCards"
If you come across hundreds of lines of "gibberish" these are your certificates existence read from your CAC.
Example of CAC not being read. You'll only run across roughly15 lines of text.
